WHO AM I?
In this mortal body,
scared by wind
and breath on glass
Who am I?
Scared by the tides
and the shifting of waves,
I fear the mirror shapes.
My locks in the dark,
I am lost and I am found.
I wish I was alone,
I know I’m not.
Who am I?
Who fears the known
and cries out of the lacking
Who am I?
To fear the unknown
shapes in the shadows,
through the inky sea
Who are they?
To watch and to whisper,
to breathe down our backs
and murmur our dreams
and who are we to judge?
Who am I?
To fear the night and the dark
and the sea and the storms,
to fear the dust and the halls
that lead to nowhere,
to fear the things I can’t explain
for I have yet to learn.
Some things are best left
on the bookshelf,
alone.

CANADIAN
MUSEUM FOR
HUMAN RIGHTS
Did you know that Canada
is home to the first museum
dedicated to human rights?
Located in Winnipeg, it
opened back in 2014. The
building’s unique design fea-
tures geometry and colours
based on images from the
Canadian landscape. The
museum highlights personal stories, capturing dierent per-
spectives, and focuses on a range of themes. Its creation was
based on the idea that respect and understanding of human
rights can serve as a positive force for change in the world.
