RACING RESULTS

Tokyo 2020 Test Event (July 21)
With riders divided into national teams for
this Olympic try-out, British rider Matt
Holmes, who usually rides in Madison-
Genesis colours, put in an impressive
performance against a solid field to come
in fourth. The event was won by Italy’s
Diego Ulissi.

BeNe Ladies Tour (July 18-21)
Germany’s Lisa Klein put in a dominant
performance in this Low Countries
stage race, winning the prologue,
relinquishing the lead for two stages
before coming back to win the stage 2b
time trial and hold on for an emphatic GC
win in Zelzate.

Giro Ciclista delle Valle d’Aosta U23
(July 16 -21)
Consistently placing well brought an
impressive second overall for Britain’s Adam
Hartley (SEG Racing Academy), behind
Belgium’s Mauri Vansevenant. After a
disappointing prologue, he finished between
fourth and 16th on the following five stages.
