CAREER

POTENTIAL

Earlierthis year, on the eve of International Women’s
D a y,we teamed up with top tech company Salesforce and
United Nations Human Rights to host an event that brought
together thought leaders to tackle discrimination against
women. Now, we’re joining forces again to set you up for
success. In partnership with Salesforce, we’re invitingMarie
Clairereaders to an inspiring live panel discussion. Chaired
by Editor in Chief, Trish Halpin, high-profile speakers will
reveal how to future-proof your career, gain crucial digital
skill sets, and amplify your voice to create a positive impact.
From how to become a future leader and tackle automation,
to learning new tech tools and exploring self-development
courses, we’ll be talking all things career. Because, while 60
per cent of women across the UK expressed an interest in
life-long learning, retraining and changing profession in
our recent nationwide survey (see opposite page), only 38 per
cent of younger women polled felt they have access to the
training advice needed to upskill. That’s why we’re stepping
in now to help you achieve your goals with an evening of
practical advice from the game changers innovating the way
we live and work.
Taking place at Salesforce Tower, London on Tuesday
3 September, business leaders, motivational guest speakers
and retraining experts will be on hand to present their
workplace experiences and career know-how. Hacks from
the pros will help you to hone your key skills and boost
performance, while our low-down on changing direction
will give you the inside track on how to progress and adapt in
fast-moving markets. Join us, because together we reallycan
build a future full of equal opportunities.
