he showcase event for the mechani-
cal, electrical and plumbing sector
is once again on the horizon – and MEP
Middle East wants you to be there.
The glitz and glamour of the 13th MEP
Middle East Awards comes to town on
6 November, when the leading lights of the
industr y will be recognised during a plush
prizegiving ceremony.
Last year’s edition marked a dozen spectac-
ular years of rewarding the cream of the crop
from across the region, and 2019 is set to go
further still, hailing those who have gone the
extra mile over the last 12 months.
Indeed, the MEP Middle East Awards are
the perfect opportunity to highlight the ex-
cellence in design and installation that un-
derpin iconic projects, which themselves con-
tribute to the evolving and rapidly-maturing
construction landscape.
It is an old but valid maxim that extraor-
dinar y circumstances lead to extraordinar y
achievements, and the MEP Middle East
Awards are an unrivalled occasion to ac-
knowledge the efforts and achievements of
the sector in ensuring its continued viability
and innovation in light of current constraints
and global economic volatility.

China State Construction Engineering Corpo-
ration, Black & White Engineering, and Bu-
rohappold Engineering – meaning the 2019
nominees are in fi ne company.

There are 16 categories to enter – includ-
ing Mechanical Engineer of the Year, Plumb-
ing Engineer of the Year, and Electrical
Engineer of the Year – with winners hand-
