Born in Sweden to Somalian parents and now
living in London, 23-year-old Ikram Abdi
Omar has been making waves since her
London Fashion Week debut back in February- The model and biomedical science
student took to Molly Goddard’s catwalk in a
pale tea dress and something rarely seen at the
shows: a hijab. Almost a year later she made
history as one of the first-ever trio of hijabi
models on the cover of Vogue Arabia.
