Tatler’s Creative Director Tom Usher
worked his artistic magic across the
issue, as well as heading to Margate
to direct Olympia Campbell’s cover
shoot. The British seaside was a wel-
come change of scenery for Tom,
who’s used to jetting around Europe
and the US in search of locations.
‘It was lovely to be somewhere so
inspiring on home ground,’ he says.
Tatler’s Senior Editor David Jenkins
always keeps himself busy, and this
issue is no exception. Ahead of Nicky
Haslam’s 80th birthday, he recalls the
interior designer’s glittering decades.
‘It’s no surprise that friends queued
up to praise Nicky, he’s always fun
with the hottest gossip,’ says David.
Elsewhere in the issue, he sat down
with Olympia Campbell to discuss
witchcraft, Fashion Weeks and
becoming Prime Minister. ‘Olympia’s
godfather told me that she was a
world-champion giggler turned brain-
box – he was right.’
Born and raised in Tennessee, Rachel
DeLoache Williams moved to New
York in 2010 for her dream job as
Picture Editor at Vanity Fair. There,
she worked with the industry’s leading
professionals, but an encounter with
Russian-born fraudster Anna Delvey
proved the most significant. In this
issue Rachel shares an extract from
her book, My Friend Anna, to detail
how the fake heiress conned her out
of thousands of dollars and years of
friendship. ‘Many run-ins with con
artists and sociopaths are far worse
than mine was,’ says Rachel. ‘It could
have been much worse.’

Luca and Alessandro Morelli have
worked with the likes of Naomi
Campbell, Emilia Clarke and Kylie

shot an array of feathers, sequins and
alluring ensembles from fashion’s
latest ready-to-wear collections.
‘We loved the classic Chanel look
and the big polka-dot Dolce &
Gabbana gown.’ And what’s it really
like working with a family member?
‘Knowing each other better than
anyone else is the best – and worst
- thing about working with your
brother,’ says Alessandro.

In this issue, Tatler’s Arts Editor

are in the world, ‘you’re never far
away from a wonderful work of
