The essence of ‘Home’ can be felt from initiation to the

culmination, as a fine blend of genres that have been adapted

from around the world, with sprinkles of relatability instilled

as per the name suggests. Revealing what was in her mind,

Smriti says, “Home is named after the intent of providing the

distinguished patrons an atmosphere of comfort and luxury

reminiscent of their own drawing room where they can

entertain and enjoy with their family and friends.” Casting

an impression of a snug habitat, the design is laid out to instil

a variety of experiences, ranging from a den resonating a

reading corner, a tropical themed blush bar, a colonial dining

set-up, and a pompous music lounge.

Complying with her forte of conglomerating numerous

styles, Smriti endeavours to merge snippets of European and

minimalist form of design, to present a composition that

appears almost as a London walk-up apartment right from

the inception. Ranging from carpeted stairways to a live

performance arena possessing an old world charm, the entire

scheme carries its international semblance with elegance.

Amalgamated finely with such an opulent ideology, is an

undeniable cosy milieu that is realisable from the furniture

configurations, the interior decor and treatments inculcated.
