FUTURE OF FILM
Actress Elizabeth Debicki received the 2019 Women In Film
Max Mara Face Of The Future Award this June at the Women
In Film Annual Gala, which honours women whose entrepreneurial
strides are creating opportunities for more women to succeed
in careers in the screen industries.

Musical Pots
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, presents Oliver Beer: Vessel Orchestra.
The sound-based performance exhibition, held from Jul 2 to Aug 11, assembles 32 objects
to form a musical instrument. The selected pieces are equipped with small microphones
that capture their unique ambient sound. Activating each microphone via a keyboard interface
produces music that links works across historic periods and cultures.

PIXELICIOUS
CURVES
Capella Hotel Singapore unveils
the largest curved LED screen
in our technophile republic.
Towering at 4.5m and spanning
18m across, with a screen size of
81sqm, it promises an immersive
and unforgettable visual
experience bound to elevate
any event at the hotel’s elegant
Grand Ballroom.

Compelling Case
Berluti’s latest Un Jour briefcase expresses simple stylistic elements — think
fold-over edges and the brand’s iconic off-centre front pocket — yet conveys
sophistication through luxurious classic Venezia or alligator leather.
Its sleek silhouette masks the spacious zippered laptop compartment within.
