t’s hard to believe that Jennifer Lopez
is already 50 – but last week the singer
celebrated her milestone birthday with
a party she’ll never forget.
J.Lo was joined by her fiancé Alex
Rodriguez as she celebrated with 250
friends at a no-expense-spared gold-
themed party.
Ensuring she was the centre of
attention, the On The Floor singer and
actress dressed in a plunging gold
Versace gown, while she asked the rest
of her guests to wear white.
The bash, which was hosted by Umar
Kamani – the owner of fashion label
PrettyLittleThing – was held at Gloria
Estefan’s waterfront Miami home.
The evening kicked off with a gourmet
dinner before guests danced the night
away with performances from DJ Khaled,
Ashanti, Fat Joe and the birthday girl
herself! Finally, a huge firework display
brought the night to a close.
Jennifer’s 11-year-old twins Max and
Emme, who she shares with former
husband Marc Anthony, and Alex’s
daughters Ella, 11, and Natasha, 14,
were also there to help her celebrate.
Among the guests was former Corrie
star Ryan Thomas, who is a friend of Umar’s.Opening up about turning 50,
Jennifer recently admitted: ‘I don’t think
of myself as an age, I think of myself as
me and I’m still doing what I’ve always
done, so I just keep doing it.’
