eturning to her Welsh roots, CATHERINEZETAJONESbrought
a touch of Hollywood glamour to her hometown of Swansea last
week. The 49 year old was joined by her actor husband MICHAEL
DOUGLAS, 74, and their 18-year-old son Dylan as she was honoured
with the freedom of the City and County of Swansea (below). The
actress, who won an Oscar in 2003 for her role as Velma Kelly in
Chicago, looked stunning in a red gown as she took to the red carpet
with her family for a gala dinner (right) after being awarded with the
honour earlier in the day. Catherine and Michael’s daughter Carys, 16,
appeared to be absent from the celebrations. The couple, who first
met at the Deauville Film Festival in France in 1998, will celebrate 19
years of marriage in
November. Catherine
has said of their
relationship: ‘I think
it’s just unfathomable
to me that you would
be with one person
for 18 years, and
things are not rosy
every day. They’re just
not.’ She continued:
‘Both Michael and
I have a very open
relationship. When
you have kids that
didn’t ask to be
born into a world
scrutinised or looked
into, you’ve got to
be open and honest
and share things
that, probably,
people at the
drugstore wouldn’t
share over

eality TV star KIMKARDASHIANWESTsparked
controversy last week when she shared a picture
of her six-year-old daughter North wearing a nose
ring (left). Getting their pout on in a photobooth for
Kim’s grandmother MJ’s 85th birthday, the ring, which
Kim later clarified was fake, was called ‘inappropriate’
by fans. Youngest son Psalm, two months, also made
his photobooth debut sharing a kiss with his mum
(below). Kim has gushed about how ‘sweet’ elder son
Saint, three, is with Psalm, writing on Instagram: ‘Saint
said he’s gonna pretend to sleep with his brother. He
always wants a pic to capture every moment. You have
no idea how sweet my boys are!’rin
