away July 26, 2019. Loving
husband of 56 years to
Joanne Connolly. He was a son to the
late John and Beatrice Connolly.
Beloved father to Debra Connolly of
Hingham, MA, Lynda Ricciarelli, her
late husband Steven of Quincy, MA and
Susan Blair of Scituate, MA. Cherished
grandfather to Justin Ricciarelli and
Cathryn Blair. He will be lovingly
remembered by his sister Donna
Panzini of Avon, MA, and many nieces
and nephews. Paul was predeceased by
his siblings Clare Ruprecht, Kathleen
Ramos and John Connolly.
Paul was born and raised in Boston,
where he graduated from Dorchester
High. He served in the U.S. Army. He
started his professional life as a civilian
working in Army Intelligence, which
lead to a career as a U.S. Postal Inspec-
tor, retiring from the Boston Division
in 1996. He then worked for ten years
as a Medicare Fraud Investigator. In his
spare time, he served as a high school
football official for nearly 40 years. Mr.
Connolly also coached Scituate Pop
Warner Football. He enjoyed traveling
with his wife and spending quality time
with his grandchildren. A friend of Bill,
his sharp wit and expansive storytelling
will be greatly missed by all.
A Visitation will be held on Wednes-
day, July 31, 2019 from 4-8pm at
Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382
First Parish Road, SCITUATE, MA. A
Funeral will be held on Thursday, Au-
gust 1, 2019 at 10am from St. Mary of

Of Sudbury, 91, died at home on
Monday, July 29, 2019. Beloved mother,
grandmother, great-grandmother, god-
mother, friend, she was predeceased by
her husband Robert M. Gogan; parents
Earl C. Mitchell and Eleanor B. Mitch-
ell, and brother Donald D. Mitchell.
Virginia is survived by her children, son
Robert M. Gogan Jr. and daughter-in-
law Frann S. Addison of Acton; daugh-
ter Virginia C. (Jill) and son-in-law Alan
M. Gogan-Tilstone of Burlington; son
Mitch Gogan of Sudbury; son Matthew
B. Gogan and daughter-in-law Barbara
J. of Sudbury; daughter Laetitia B.
(Tish) Gogan and son-in-law David H.
Goganian of Sherborn; grandchildren
Eleanor, Christopher, Joshua, Zach-
ary, Abigail, Alexander, Alicia, Olivia,
Marielle; and great-grandchildren Rose
Virginia and Eve Clara.
Gini graduated at age 16 from New-
ton High School in 1945. She graduated
from Mount Holyoke College in 1949
and served as her class treasurer for
many years and attended reunions in
South Hadley regularly. She taught
elementary school in Rockland, MA for
two years after college.
Gini married Bob Gogan in 1952 and
moved with him to Norfolk Naval Base
in Virginia. After Bob’s naval service,
they settled in Newton and eventually
Wellesley, where she lived for fifty-eight
years. She served many volunteer or-
ganizations including parent teacher as-
sociations, Florence Crittendon League,
Wellesley Junior Service League, and
Wellesley Community Center. After her
husband’s death in 1971, she took over
as Chief Executive Officer of American
Precast Corporation of Framingham.
While a widowedmother of five
children as young as five years old, she
oversaw the company’s concrete manu-
facturing operations for 17 years until
the sale of the business in 1988.
Gini spent many summers hosting
her clan on the shores of Cape Cod,
especially at Holiday House in Bourne.
She also hosted as many as 23 in her
down-sized home for Christmas Eve
and Christmas Day. Gini was a welcom-
ing surrogate Mom to several inter-
national students over the years from
Japan, Venezuela, Iran and Colombia,
some of whom kept in touch for many
years. She enjoyed getting together
with friends for bridge, plays, concerts
and museums. She was a devoted Red
Sox fan.

Of Hingham, passed away on July 28,
2019 at the age of 93 surrounded by
devoted family. She was born March
4, 1926 in West Warren, MA after
graduating from New England Baptist
Hospital School of Nursing, she worked
at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. She
met her late husband Frank Brenton in
1946 in Newton and enjoyed a loving
marriage for over 69 years. Louise loved
golf and dancing and was very involved
with the Cardinal Cushing School. She
also worked tirelessly for the Make-a-
Wish Foundation and other charities
involving the handicapped, disadvan-
taged youth and Bentley College. Louise
was a role model to her daughters and
grandchildren and treated all as though
they were the “special” one. She loved
playing “house” and “dress-up” and
had an infectious laugh. Both Frank
and Louise will be remembered as
being able to laugh at themselves and
approached life as a time to be enjoyed
with friends and family. Louise is sur-
vived by her 3 daughters Linda Wayne
of Florida, Cheryl Pitt of Duxbury and
Debi Horan of Easton, seven grandchil-
dren and many great-grandchildren.
Service and burial will be private. In

to the Allerton House at Harbor Park
Employee Fund, 15 Condito Rd., Hing-
