yourmouse.WhentheMenuopens,goto
EditIn>Openin PhotoshopasLayers.Make
surebothimagesarestillselectedafterthey
openandgotoEdit>AutoAlignLayers,
leave Projection set to Auto and press OK.

MASKTHELAYERSAfterthelayersarealigned,
youmayneedtocroptheimageslightly.
Afterthis,clickontheAdda LayerMaskicon
at thebottomof theLayerspalette,andpress
theDkeytosetthepalettecolourstoblack
& white.PressXtotogglebetweenthetwo.
Bringblacktotheforegroundandusethe
BrushTool set to a soft edge to paint in the
desired parts from the image below.

CONVERTTOBLACK & WHITEMakesureblack
is theforegroundcolourandthatwhiteis
in thebackgroundbypressingXif necessary.
ClickontheCreatenewfilloradjustment
layericon(it’sthehalf-blackhalf-whilecircle
at thebottomof theLayerspalette)andselect
GradientMap.By addingthisAdjustment
Layer now you'll convert the image to a
punchy black & white that looks amazing.
