Q What did you think
about this project?
A Slider cards may feel
rather complicated, but
a s e or big birthday they are
well worth the effort!
Q What is your top tip
when making slider cards?
A Think carefully about where your
embellishments will go, so that your card
will slide and lay flat. I flattened the wire
before adding the butterfly!

Q What did you use to
make your fab card?
A I made my slider card
using a digi image from
So O G , ich I coloured with
ProMarkers. The sentiment is from Scruffy
Little Cat. Making a slider card is a new
technique for me, but now I’ve tried it I’ll
definitely be making more!
Q How did you finish off your design?
A I punched a hole in the top of the pull tab,
and tied on some baker’s twine.

Q Tell us about your
orgeous card!
g e u a fab 3D card with a
secret message, that folds flat for easy
postage. I have enlarged the easy slider card
template (p77) to take a 1 ⁄ in circle for the
mermaid. You can’t have a mermaid without
pearls, so I added some pearl and bobble
trim, with a bit of ribbon for more texture.
Q What is your top tip for this make?
A Glossy accents make great 3D bubbles!
