Q What did you decide
to craft for your
acetete make?
R , I b n making folios so this
idea is based on a pocket page and tag. I
cut the acetate slightly larger than the
pocket page, and sealed the acetate

Q Do you have any other ideas for this
acetate make?
A The tag would look really good with some
‘New Home’ printed ribbon! I didn’t have any
in my stash so I made a tassel using
embroidery threads instead.

Q Tell us about your card!
AI cut an aperture into an
8x ached acetate behind to
make a window. I created the background
using my Sheena Douglass Sparkle pens, and
stamped some fairies onto the acetate.

Q Do you have a top tip for this make?
A Instead of matting and layering your
sentiments, run a coloured pen around the
outside of the sentiment, to give the
appearance of layers!

The secret ingredient

Use acetate to create a magic slider card. The fun
continues when the recipient receives their card
and tries to work out how the magic happens!

Q What did you think
bout this project?
A I love making shaker
cards, so this was a really
p r me!My frame was made from
two nesting dies cut from white card and I
went around the edge with a regular black
pen before filling it with sequins. I used a flag
die onto which I stamped my sentiment!

Q Do you have a top tip for adding
embellishments?
A When mounting something beyond the card
perimeter, make sure you have an envelope
big enough so as to not bend the edges!
