Woodland whimsy
Fussy cut lots of leaves in different
colours and arrange around a
circle of plain paper to create
a wreath. Build up the layer of
leaves by attaching them on top
of the base layer with sticky foam
pads to create depth. Attach a
sentiment across the middle of
the wreath and add a fussy-cut
bird and squirrel to complement
the woodland theme. Add sequins
around the wreath for a touch of
sparkle and attach small wooden
buttons in each corner of the card.In the frame
Trim a square of cardboard to create
the base of the frame and cover with
spotty paper. Cut a square of pink
paper the same size and trim a large
square out of the centre to create a
frame. Attach on top of the spotty
paper with foam pads. Secure a strip
of green paper across the bottom and
attach five fussy-cut trees on top. Add
two more trees with foam pads to add
depth. Create an interesting sentiment
across the top using a mixture of
printed and wooden words. Stick
wooden buttons across the bottom to
coordinate with the sentiment and add
an extra touch of colour and texture.Pocketful of love
Create a pocket by attaching foam pads down both sides
and the bottom of an item from the journal spot pack and
attach to the card front. Fussy cut a tag from paper, punch
a hole through the top and thread with a thin strip of
paper. Attach an item from the journal pack to the tag so a
message can be written on it and then place in the pocket.
Add buttons across the bottom in colours that complement
the tag and papers for a coordinating look. Fussy cut a
butterfly and secure to the pocket with a sticky foam pad to
