9th//Sal Becherano//P-47
Th is 1/4-scale CARF-Models WW II warbird has a 120-inch
wingspan, is powered by a Moki 250cc radial gas engine, and
weighs 45 pounds. Sal fl ew the P-47 using a Jeti 24 radio
and earned a fi nal score of 114.983 points.


5th//Lou Cetrangelo//Corsair FG-1D
Th is 1/5.5-scale warbird was built from Ziroli plans and has
a wingspan of 93 inches. Powered by a DLA 4-cylinder
128cc gas engine turning a 26x14 3-blade propeller, the
Corsair weighs 41 pounds. Using a Spektrum DX20 radio,
Lou earned a fi nal score of 118.900 points.

Th is experimental homebuilt was
created from a Grupp-Modellbau kit
and is 1/3.5 scale. With a wingspan

Th is 1/4.5-scale Japanese warbird is built from a Meister
Scale kit and has a wingspan of 100 inches. Powered by a
Moki 150cc radial gas engine spinning a 26x14 Solo prop,
the Zero weighs 40 pounds. Using a Spektrum DX18 radio,
Mike earned a fi nal score of 116.650 points.

8th//Warren Farmer//Fokker D.VII
Built from a 1/4-scale Balsa USA kit, this WW I classic has a
span of 89 inches. Powered by a Zenoah G38 turning a 20x8
propeller, the German biplane weighs 25 pounds. Warren fl ew
the Fokker D.VII using a Spektrum DX18 and earned a fi nal
score of 116.400 points.

10th//Carl Stewart Jr.//A-26 Invader
Built from Don Smith plans, this 1/7-scale twin engine
warbird has a wingspan of 124 inches and is 91 inches long.
Powered by two Zenoah G45 gas engines turning Mejzlik
19x11 3-blade props, the A-26 weighs 48 pounds. Using a
Futaba 14-channel radio, Carl earned a fi nal fl ight score of
114.450 points.
