Their common ground is their environmental
awareness, their great love for the ocean and their
invaluable contribution for the protection of this
precious treasure of humanity. Artists, filmmakers,
writers, scientists, activists and narrators
join forces under the roof of Panthalassa.org,
approaching the ocean from different perspectives
but with equal farsightedness, in an optimistic and
promising attempt to embrace the planet through
ecology, gourmet cuisine, poetry, diving, cinema
and the media.Following the “Life is All Ocean” motto, the
Panthalassa collective looks at the oceans from
various unexpected perspectives, bringing activists,
artists and scientists to the same table, and
organizing regular talks on the oceans in an attempt
to raise awareness on the devastating footprint that
the human presence has on the oceans.
With targeted actions across the globe,
Panthalassa’s incredible initiatives include, among
other things, a “Plastic Family” made of rubbish
