Oneofherfavouriteprojectswasa

GeorgianhomenearKidderminster.Olivia

mettheownersastheystartedacomplete

renovationproject–transformingthehouse

fromtoptobottom.

“FourCornerswereinvolvedthroughout

so,itwasgreattoseetheirhometake

shape.Wedesignedthekitchenandwealso

workedinthecellarwheretheybuiltabar.

Wecreatedalibraryand,upstairs,designed

dressingroomsandwardrobes.Forthe

paintedcabinetryinthekitchenweused

maple–ahardwood–andinthelibraryand

bedroomsweusedamoretraditionaloiled

oak.”Ofcoursenotallhomeshaveelegantly

proportionedGeorgianroomsbutthebeauty

oftrulybespokefurnitureisthatitiscreated

tofitaspacelikeaglove.So,whenitcomes

tocosyCotswoldcottageswithbeamsand

unevenwallsandfloors,abespokedesign

canrisetothechallengeofaccommodating

ageandcharacterwithoutcompromisingon

designandpracticality.

“Workinginoldcottagescanbetricky

withdifferencesinfloorandceilingheights

andtheanglesofthebeams,butourfitters

areveryskilled,sothedesignwe’veagreed

withourclientcanbebroughttolife.Wecan

evencreateadistressedfinishsoitlooksasif

ithasbeenthereforyears,”saysOlivia.
