Harper’s Bazaar started thecountdown to its 10th anniversary in Indiawith the launch of the cofee-table bookBazaar at Work: The Power List, Women WhoWrite Their Own Rules. Featuring 50 remarkable achieversfrom diverse ields, the book includes Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Nita Ambani, Ritu Dalmia, Sonam Kapoor, andPriyanka Chopra, among others. The launch at NewDelhi’s Hyatt Regency began with a thought-provokingpanel discussion with paralympic silver medalist DeepaMalik, designer Anita Dongre, social activist Chetna GalaSinha, actor, producer, and activist Dia Mirza, and authorand entrepreneur Malini Agarwal. Bazaar editor NonitaKalra initiated a dialogue on the unique strengthsof women entrepreneurs today. The book was unveiledby Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare,Anupriya Patel, and a soul-stirring performanceby Sonam Kalra of The Sufi Gospel Project set thesoundtrack for the evening. Guests were then ledto a private preview of Jimmy Choo’s Fall 2018 eyewearcollection, for which the brand had specially lown downa craftsman from Italy to demonstrate the precision thatgoes into creating each of their glasses. The intimategathering segued to dinner and drinks with Bazaar’ssupporters and friends, including Rakesh Thakore, DavidAbraham, Madhu Jain, Rohit Gandhi, Rahul Khanna,William Dalrymple, and Neha Kapur Nayyar.The venue was elegantly decorated by Marina Homeand guests enjoyed an energetic performance by AfroCaribbean and Latin jazz music ensemble Los Gatosmanaged by The Piano Man Events and ArtistManagement Company.
