She can be adventurous as well—she’ll choose a dresswith an interesting cut or a cool blouse for a traditional sari.Avantika Bakshi: Devika is very picky. She’ll take an hourto decide on a dress. Kanika is fashion-forward. Anda hoarder: She has too much of everything in her closet.Do you ever raid each other’s closet?KBT: It really depends on our sizes. While growing upDevika was always very thin so we don’t take anythingfrom her closet.DB: That’s a lie. There was a time when both of you usedto borrow from me. Now it’s mostly Avantika whoborrows all our clothes.AB: More accessories than clothes. When we were younger,if they weren’t around, I would sneakily pull out a clutch.Now I just ask them for it.DB: That’s a lie too.Avantika, if you were to dress your sisters diferently fora day, what would you pick out for them?AB: Clown outits! I’m kidding; I might make them trywhat I wear.What are your biggest fashion influences?AB: The musician FKA Twigs and also Blake Lively.KBT: I like looking at street style images online.DB: Travelling and seeing what people are wearingin other cultures.What is it like to grow up surrounded by women?DB: Your sisters are your best friends.
