well correlates with Einstein's Theory of Relativity.
The Relativity theory says that Energy and Matter
are interchangeable (E = mc ), where,^2 ‘E’ is the
Energy, 'm' is the relativistic mass of the body, and
'c' is the speed of light. Meaning by, Energy and
matter are essentially the same, not different. Lord
Mahavira presented the same concept long before
in his discourses, that the Master and His Mission
are not two different entities. Instead, they are the
reflections of one another. He would, therefore, say–
'The one who adores the Master, he, in turn, adores
and worships His Mission too. The one who
disrespects the Mission, in turn, disrespects the
Master as well. Reason being, the two are not
separate but interchangeable forms of each other.
Therefore, if we define Guru Puja from the
relativistic perspective, then, worshipping the Guru
would mean serving His Mission devotedly and
wholeheartedly. In other words, it would mean a
day of taking new resolutions and bracing up our
determination to serve the Mission of the Master,
fully and sincerely.

GURU PUJA IN
METAPHORICAL PARLANCE

In the eyes of the wise ones, this world is a
delusive mesh of Maya. This Maya keeps one
entangled in its delusions so intensely that a person
becomes oblivious of his real goal, i.e. liberation
from the utterly painful and vicious cycle of birth
and death. Just read what our scriptures have to say
about the role of a Guru, when it comes to seeking
liberation from this painful cycle of birth and death–
Guru bin bhav nidhi tarai na koi;
jau biranchi sankar sam hoi
That, without seeking refuge of a Guru, it is
“IMPOSSIBLE” to attain liberation from this web

the one who drinks this through the vessel of the
moon, experiences a transcendental state of
consciousness while revelling in the divine realms.
As far as the moon as a celestial entity is
concerned, then, from the astronomical perspective
also, it has been found to be exceptionally powerful
on the day of Guru Purnima. According to the Hindu
calendar, Guru Purnima falls on the full moon day
(Purnima) of the Ashadha month (June-July). This
day marks the peak of the lunar cycle. On this day,
the gravitational pull of the moon and sun are
combined. As a result, the moon exerts a greater pull
on the Earth as compared to other days. It is said
that the ones practising meditation on this day
experience a heightened pull towards the Divine
Self. In other words, the cosmological setup is such
that it supports a being to cherish deeper meditative
states.

GURU PUJA IN
SCIENTIFIC PARLANCE

In mathematics, if we say A = B, then it means A
is equal to B. In other words, we can also put it like
this that, though A and B are equal but essentially
they are different entities. However, there is
another sign in mathematics– the 'triple bar' ≡. In
literal sense, this sign means, A is not just equal to B;
rather, A is B only. That means A and B are not two
entities but one, at all levels, in all respects, and in
every parlance. With regard to the relation between
God and Guru, it is the latter sign which befits, i.e.
Guru is not just equal to (=) God; rather, Guru ≡ (is)
God! Furthermore, the same extends to the relation
between Guru and his Mission. That,
The True Guru ≡ His Mission of
Spiritual Revolution
If we look at it carefully, we will find that it very
