GURU PUJA SPECIAL EDITION
W
hen a spiritual aspirant approaches a
true Guru, then the Guru initiates him
into the Spiritual Knowledge or, in other
words, gives him 'deeksha'. Often, by the term
'initiation or deeksha' the general notions drawn
are: some mantra given to be chanted; scriptural
reading; some siddhis or tantras taught; training on
some hathyog kriyas; or, revelling in the sky
of imagination. However, in accordance with
the authentic texts of wisdom,
all these inferences are
“completely false.” Instead,
Lord Krishna clearly says in the
Bhagavad Gita–
Adhyaatma gyaana nityatvam
tattva gyaanaartha
darshanam;
etaj gyaanam iti proktam
agyaanam yadato anyathaa.
(13.11)
Meaning, the Spiritual
Knowledge is the one
through which one
“beholds” the inner Self
(our core identity). This
al o n e i s t h e re a l G y a n
(Knowledge); rest everything is
a falsity.
Here are some of the real
incidents recorded on the pages of history,
along with certain striking facts. These validate
the fact that the real Gyan (Brahm Gyan) is not
tantra, mantra-chanting, etc. Instead, it is the
Supreme Knowledge, which is far above and divine
than the other practices.
