MOTHER OF ALL DRAMAS
Move over Big Little Lies Season 2, there is more of Reese
Witherspoon to savour. The actor is now starring in the web
adaptation of Celeste Ng’s book, Little Fires Everywhere. The
book about motherhood had featured on every bestseller list
last year. Now, it has been turned into an eight-part web series,
starring Witherspoon and Kerry Washington. It is touted as the
show to watch out for this season. The only question is, when
will it come to India?

SAND LANGUAGE
When Michelle Obama’s Becoming
became the highest selling memoir
of all time, the Penguin India team
along with sand artist Sudarsan
Pattanaik paid tribute to it with a
beautiful sand sculpture. It was built
with four tons of sand at the Puri
beach in Odisha. “Michelle Obama’s
story is as nuanced and beautiful as
the granules of sand,” said Patta-
naik. “And much like the ocean, it is
everlasting.”

BABY GLOW
Tinseltown has woken up to the fact that preg-
nancy is something to be celebrated. A baby
bump is the new fashion statement. Joining the
brigade of stylish mamas-to-be is Amy Jackson,
who shared a picture of her sonography on In-
stagram. She announced her pregnancy in May
with fiance George Panayiotou, and ever since
then has been a picture of radiant happiness.
Pregnancy certainly suits this pretty lady.
