Because

One is Never

Enough

STORY & PHOTOS BY BETO MENDOZA

W

hen one creates a masterpiece it is to
remain untouched. So, when San Pedro
resident Rosario Onorato finished off his
first ’64 Impala, he gave it the name “The
Blue Rose” and called it a wrap. Years later, his fascination
for the ’64 led him to build yet another one, and this time
around he’s back with a cover car that pays tribute to the OG
style of lowriding.
Finessed with custom paint and a killer interior, this
intricate build displays all the styling cues of the early ’70s
and is adorned with plenty of art and attention to detail. It’s
a five-year build featuring some of the industry’s best
talent, and now that he’s double upped, we’re all wondering
if a three-peat is in the works; only time will tell.

featured. LR
