Actor Bruce Willis and his wife
Emma Heming-Willis have sold
their sprawling Turks and Caicos
compound for $27 million, ac-
cording to the listing agent.
The couple listed the property,
which is on the island of
Parrot Cay, for $33 mil-
lion in March. The
roughly 13,500-
square-foot, Asian-
inspired compound

ing to agent Nina
Siegenthaler of Turks
and Caicos Sotheby’s
International Realty.
There is a five-bedroom main
house, a yoga pavilion and two
guest casitas.
The deal came close to a re-
cord-setting price for Turks and
Caicos. The record was set in
2016 by the $27.5 million sale of
a nearby property known as Oli-
ver’s Cove, which included a
main house and an adjacent parcel of land,
Ms. Siegenthaler said.
Mr. Willis, known for his roles in movies
like “Die Hard” and “The Sixth Sense,”
bought the site in 2000 and completed the
home in 2004. He and Ms. Heming-Willis
married there about a decade ago. They often

vacationed on the island, spending
birthdays and Christmases there.
“For the past 20 years, we’ve
made so many beautiful memories
on the island,” the couple said in
a statement.

Mr. Casalena bought the other two
sites earlier this year for close to $19
million from entrepreneur Michael
Hirtenstein, the people familiar with
the transactions said. The four-bed-
room house on the site spans about
5,500 square feet across three levels
and has a roof deck and wraparound
terraces. It has a gym with a skylight,
a screening room and a wine cellar.

A technology CEO has pieced to-
gether three parcels of waterfront
land in Montauk, N.Y., for around
$42 million, closing the second big-
gest residential purchase in the Long
Island vacation community.
The record is held by a nearly $50
million transaction that closed in
2015 for the former estate of late
artist Andy Warhol.
The buyer of the three parcels is
Anthony Casalena, founder and CEO
of Squarespace, according to people
familiar with the transactions. Based
in New York, the company helps peo-
ple and businesses create their own
websites and online stores and
was valued at $1.7 billion as
of late 2017, following a
$200 million investment
round led by General At-
lantic, according to its
website. A spokeswoman
for Mr. Casalena declined
to comment on his plans
for the property.
Mr. Casalena bought the
properties using three different
limited liability companies over the
course of about a year, according to
the people familiar with the transac-
tions. The three parcels total over 6
acres and include two new contempo-
rary homes as well as a guesthouse.
Mr. Casalena bought the first
property for about $22.8 million in
June, 2018, from Michael Goodwin, a
managing partner of Bluefin Cos., a
financial services firm, in an off-mar-
