Gerald DeCock’s studio
on the top floor of the Chelsea
Hotel hasn’t changed much
since he moved in and painted
every inch of the walls,
floor, and ceiling. He built
a loft bed and created an office
space behind the sequined
curtain. The silver-painted
door opens to his closet.
