F

ollowing the success of our Sporting Shooter gundog calendars, we have
decided to widen the net for 2020 to create a shooting and gundog
calendar which captures more of those precious moments in the field and on
the foreshore – be that with dog or gun, or both!
Each month, we will select the best photographs sent in by you and will
print them in the magazine for all the readers to admire. Towards the end of
the year, the 12 best photos will be selected by our panel of judges to appear
in our 2020 calendar, which will then be sent out with the January edition of
the magazine.
So, if you take a photo that you are particularly proud of while out enjoying
your sport, send it our way via email or post, and you could be in with a
chance of featuring in our calendar. Think picturesque shooting landscapes,
cool action shots, atmospheric character shots... the only stipulation is that it
must be shooting or gundog related. And if you can include a caption to go
with it, even better.
There is no limit to how many times you can enter the competion, but you
must not be a professional photographer and it is essential that any photos
you send us are of a suitable quality to print. So send us the original files and

aim for a size of no smaller than 1MB. So get

snapping as you take on those pigeons and

foxes, put the dog through its paces or climb

onto that gun bus... we can’t wait to see

your efforts!
