‘Road Rage III’ 2-1 exhaust.
It’s the next piece in
the evolving performance
package that includes a
Screamin’ Eagle Tuner and
Sports Air Cleaner.
Significantly better
breathing and the ability to
tap the bike out longer are
just one of the advantages
of this upgrade. The
stainless steel system also
offers several kilograms of
important weight savings and
improved ground clearance
on the already tight-handling
chassis.
In technical terms, the
stepped headers merge into a
true reverse-cone megaphone
muffler and the 1¾in headpipe steps up to 1⅞in as it
runs into the collector – to
increase flow and improve
performance.
The 4in megaphone
muffler body has a stainless
steel end cap and the system
is all hand Tig welded.
It includes a removable
spiral-core louvered baffle,mounting hardware, 12mm
and 18mm O2 sensor ports
and stainless heat shields.
And then there is
the magnificent sound
that emanates from the
megaphone. The 107 cube
Milwaukee Eight barks “like
an angry Doberman,” was
Brum’s take.So far there have been no
ground-clearance clearance
issues and fitting was a breeze.
