■ Shiloh abducts Sam and
lures Jason to his motel
room, where he names the
very high price he wants for
Sam’s freedom.
Sam isn’t there when
Jason arrives. “He is
alarmed,” reports Co-Head
Writer Shelly Altman.
“Yes, even Jason Morgan
feels alarm. And he needs
to vault into action to find
her.” And quickly, because
Shiloh has stashed Sam
inside a freezer. “She only
has a limited amount of
time to survive in there.
Air is sparse and growing
sparser. So either she needs
to free herself or be freed
before she passes out and
suffocates.”
Back at the motel, Shiloh
lays out for Jason the terms
under which he will spare
Sam, which involve Dr.
Cabot and the flash drive
containing Drew’s memo-
ry map. Explains Altman,
“This is his quid pro quo:
‘I will release Sam if you
essentially become the
Drew Cain who existed
before he showed up in
town with Jason’s memo-
ries.’ What he wants is the
memories that Drew had
from the time that Shiloh
and Drew knew each other.
That is the deal. Now that
he has the flash drive that
includes Drew’s whole

history, he has a way to
recover those memories and
he wants Jason to be the
means by which he does it.
Based on what was done
to Drew, he knows that the
process can be successful,
that you can record one per-
son’s memories, store them,
and then transfer them to
another person’s brain. If it
can be done once, he rea-
sons, then it can be done
again. And wouldn’t it
be perfect if, at the same
time, he could make Jason
Morgan disappear?”
According to Shiloh’s
portrayer, Coby Ryan
McLaughlin, the disgraced
cult leader has been driven
to extremes for one simple
reason: “This guy needs
what’s on this flash drive.
His survival depends on it.
It is life or death to him.”
As for how Jason responds
to Shiloh’s offer, Altman
says, “With Jason Morgan,
there’s always a third
option. And we have to

hope that he will be one step
ahead of Shiloh.”
Opposite this, Drew and
Curtis figure out that Shiloh
wants Cabot to re-create
his twin experiment, and
fear that Jason is in danger.
Their first move is to try to
warn him. “They try, but
are unable to reach Jason
and Sam, as they are quite
occupied at the moment,”
picks up Co-Head Writer
Chris Van Etten. “Without
much of a lead to go on,
they call in the cavalry; they
call Sonny. And they head
to Shiloh’s motel room,
hoping to apprehend him.”
As the week unfolds,
other lives are affected as
the flash drive drama comes
to a head. “Shiloh’s moon
shot does not come off quite
as he had hoped, but this
does not leave him without
recourse,” teases Van Etten.
“Unfortunately for some
unwitting citizens of Port
Charles, there may be col-
lateral damage.”
