COMMON BONDS
QCount Linsey Godfrey (Sarah) as
someone who was sad to say good-bye
to her on-screen love interest. “I love
Kyle Lowder so much,” she says. “He’s
one of the most lovely, sweet, charming
people. We felt like we were old buds,
because we had worked on the same
shows, but had never worked together.
Kyle and I had this weird kinship, where
we came in and were like, ‘Oh, it’s so
good to see you. We’ve never met.’ We
had so many friends in common and so
many co-stars in common and so many
experiences in common. We’re both
parents, and we’re both single parents.
We both have really good relationships
with our exes and co-parent with our
exes really well. He’s literally the nicest
human being. Kyle walks into a room
and everybody is like, ‘Ahhhhh ... Kyle.’
It was super-sad [for him to leave]. You
always want the best for everyone. Kyle
is filming something right now, so you
don’t worry about him. He’s great and
he’s so charming. He’s really natural as
an actor. He had a really tough job ahead
of him with Rex, being that he was so
oblivious, but he did such a good job at
being an idiot, but also an oblivious idiot,
too. How many times were Sarah and
Eric almost making out and Rex walked
in? But they played it off. I hope we get
to do something together again one day.”
