of the soap’s mottos, which pleases view-
ers who enjoy seeing familiar favorites
return to propel new plots and enhance
current ones. Having Alison Sweeney
and Bryan R. Datillo return as Sami and
Lucas during Will’s brush with death
upped the stakes of the drama. Ditto for
Martha Madison and Brandon Beemer’s
return as Belle and Shawn during Claire’s
