malignant blood disease in 1973.
ANOTHER WORLD’s Marley (Ellen Wheeler,
with Tom Eplin as Jake) learned in 1985 that
she had a rare blood disorder, haemosyntho-
sis. She received a life-saving bone marrow
donation from her twin, Vicky.Barbara (Colleen Zenk) and Gunnar’s
(Hugo Napier) happiness was cut
short when he was diagnosed with a
