KATE DOESN’T

GET BOTOX!

The Palace Fires Back:

INSIDE THEIR MAGICAL

GETAWAY TO MUSTIQUE

For Prince George’s 6th birthday on July 22, Prince William and
Kate celebrated by taking the whole family to the tranquil (and
very private) Caribbean island of Mustique. “They love it there,”
says a source, noting that this is the second year in a row the
couple have gone. “It’s one of the few places they can really
switch off and have the freedom to be a normal family.” After
landing in a private jet borrowed from a friend, William, 37, Kate
and their brood, George, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis,
15 months, settled into their island palace: a spacious six-
bedroom villa with a pool, spa, state-of-the-art gym and a private
chef. Says the source: “It’s certainly fit for a king and queen!”

K

ensington Palace is in a tizzy
over a plastic surgeon’s claim
that Kate Middleton has had

Botox. “Our Kate loves a bit of baby

Botox,” British plastic surgeon Dr.

Munir Somji from the Dr. Medi Spa

Clinic posted on his Instagram ac-

count on July 23 along with side-

by-side images of the duchess, 37,

with lines in her forehead in one

photo then looking smooth in an-

other. But a palace spokesman says

the allegation is “categorically not

true.” Baby Botox is similar to tra-

ditional Botox but is administered

in lighter doses and results in a
subtler look rather than the “fro-
zen” effect. “Patients come from
far and wide to see me for this pro-
cedure,” Dr. Somji added in the
now-deleted post.

THE CLINIC RESPONDS

When told of the palace’s vehement
denial, Sammy Curry, the clinic’s
marketing manager, kept the con-
troversy going, seemingly imply-
ing Kate could be a client. “We have
nondisclosure agreements where
we can’t disclose our high-end

clients,” Curry said. “We absolute-
ly can’t comment at all that she has
come to us.”
While numerous plastic surgeons
have told In Touch over the years
that they also believe Kate does get
Botox, a royals insider says the pal-
ace isn’t involved in a cover-up.
“Kate treats herself to facials but
steers clear of cosmetic surgery and
needles. Aging gracefully is some-
thing she feels strongly about,” says
the insider. “She wants fans to know
you don’t need Botox or fillers to
look beautiful.” ◼
