baby bump while traveling

through LAX. But the

producer husband

Adam Shulman’s

journey to parenthood

hasn’t been all smooth

a protruding belly, Anne

captioned her Instagram post,

“for everyone going through

infertility and conception hell,

please know it was not a straight

line to either of my pregnancies.”

The couple share toddler son

Jonathan, 3, and sources tell Star

that Anne, 36, has been desperate

to give him a sibling “almost since

the day he was born. She tried for

a long time to have Jonathan, and

when he arrived, the world made

sense to Anne — being a mommy

was meant to be.” The star of the

upcoming film remake of Roald

Dahl’s The Witches is very private,

sources says, but friends suspect

she and Adam have undergone

IVF for both pregnancies. After

Jonathan’s birth, the couple

“began trying for another as soon

as it was medically possible, but

struggled all over again,” says

another insider. Anne hasn’t

complained about the difficult

path to expanding her family,

sources say, but now that having

more children is becoming a

reality, she couldn’t be happier.

“Anne held back on the news at

first because she couldn’t believe

it was finally happening,” says

a tipster. “But now, the relief is

immense and she can get on with

being excited. It’s all she talks

about, and Jonathan can’t wait to

have a little brother or sister.” ★
