There is a fort at Bagrian is in 10 acres
and was built by Bhai Guddar Singh
who moved there in 1765.
Bhai sahib Bhai Jujhar Singh is now
the head of Bagrian House. Bhai Jujhar
Singh, is a descendent of Raja Bhagtu
in Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. Bagrian is a
village 15 km from Nabha in Patiala. The
Bagrians have in their possession a large
collection of articles from sixth Guru


Sahib ji to Guru Gobind Singh ji as faith
bestowed on the family by the Gurus.
Bhai Sahib ji wife Mai Roop Kaur had
her initial schooling at Ferozepore and
graduated from the Government College
for Women, Chandigarh. She has
remained member Punjab Public Service
Commission .From the membership of
Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee
and its various subcommittees, she
has travelled a long way to become
chairperson of the Punjab Backward

Classes and Land Development and
Finance Corporation (Backfinco).
Bhai ji’s of Bagrian are blessed with
two sons. Eldest son Bhai Angad Singh
(who is into farming )is married to Mrs
Gunkirat kaur ( practicing Lawyer at
High Court)They are blessed with son
nammed Angaj Singh. Younger son of
Bhai Sahib Jujhar Singh is Bhai Narpat
Singh who is active in politics along
with his mother. His is married to
Harmandeep Kaur.
