haikas were shifted from
kaithal to malwa region by
English dictators because
they wanted the Bhaikas to
leave their kingdom as they did not
have any heir to the throne and were
not allowed to pass on the property and
kingdom to the nephews. Therefore they
were given approximately 70 villages in
malwa region.
In Bhaika family it is considered a
ritual to take blessings from langars
(kitchen) as it was considered holy &
devine. Many people from different
villages use to visit bhaika langar to take
blessings. Till late this ritual of (chulah
matha taken )taking blessings of challah
went on. There was purdah system in
sixties.The ladies of aristocratic families
were not allowed to step out of house
with covering their head with two
duppatas. Nor the ladies interacted withanybody. This was the symbol of Sardari
in true worlds.

Daljit Singh Sidhu, Bhai fateh Singh
sidhu settled at Bhucho khurd which
is 9 kilometres away from Bathinda.
Bhucho khurad is Bhai kian da pind.
Bhai Hazura Singh Sidhu son of Bhai
Fateh Singh got huge haveli built in
pind in 1930 & was also entitled with
jagirdar Title. He had lands in seven
villages Fattanwala, kundal near Abohar,
Bhaliana, Sahib chand, mehna, Bhucho
Khurad & khan singh wala. Bhai Daljit
Singh Sidhu father Bhai Rajinder
singh shifted to Bhatinda in 1971. Bhai
Rajinder was married to Sardarni Jagjit
kaur of Patiala. She belongs to well
known family of Royal city if Patiala.Her father Colonel Ishar Singh Grewal
participated in First world war. Her
brothers also served in Army on the
footsteps of their father. Eldest brother
Man Singh Grewal was retired as
colonel. Youngest brother Sardar Prem
Singh retired as Brigadier.

Bacchint kaur was married to Sardar
Gurdial Singh Sekhon IAS from Machaki
near Faridkot. His second sister Sardarni
Rajinder kaur was married to Colonel
Gurpratap Singh Sekhon of Machaki.
His third sister Sardarni Tej kaur was
married to Sardar Har Raj Singh Dhillon
of Badal village near Bhatinda. Sardar
Har Raj Singh Dhillon is Mr Parkash
Singh Badal Chacha ji.
Bhai Daljit Singh Sidhu, who is the
head of the family is a man with a sound
