eta Ratra, a gorgeous and lovely girl, she fills life
with colours of happiness wherever she goes. She
is an Independent Brand Consultant, who is into
Brand Building & Media Relations. She is confident
and her attitude has an irresistible alluring edge.
The moment you talk to her about herself, Veta quips, “I
started working as soon as I passed out of my college without
even giving a day to myself. I started as an Intern in reputed
PR firm and gave 3 years to company before I stepped out to
chase my own dreams. When I started working into PR firm,
little I knew about the hard work that goes into the brand, for
me it was all about meeting people and selling your ideas,
but when I joined I realised that it is all about executing ideas.
Its difficult job of making sure that your brand gets best
visibility”.
As the conversation moves forward, Veta shares about
her personal style statement, she says, “I like to keep it very
elegant and classy. I don’t like to overdo anything be it my
makeup, hairstyle, clothes or jewellery. I believe in mantra
“less is more”. The best garment is right attitude and best
makeup is right confidence”.
She adds, “My style I would say highlights modern women
who love to dress up to her best. I believe in contemporary
fashion and dressing right for occasion is most important for
me. I believe in carrying the fashion that brings out the best
in me. My wardrobe is perfect blend of day wear, evening
wear and night wear with the options of western clothing,
indo western and Indian line. Right from casual dresses,
jumpsuits, feminine silhouettes for day to easy drapes for
Indian occasions to simple tees for holidays, and my wardrobe
has something for each and every occasion. I like brands
such as Zara and Mango and Dharna Hassija for casual look.
For Couture I like Gauri & Nainika, Shantanu & Nikhil, Tarun
Tahiliani”.
Talking about her collection , she says , “My bag collection
is my most valuable one as I love buying seasons latest
and limited edition collection; few favourites are Chanel,
Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Celine! For shoes I love Christian
Louboutin, Valentino, Chanel, Gucci, Hermes and Louis
Vuitton. I love collecting new and different sunglasses every
season. Few of my favourites are from Gucci Miu Miu, Marc
Jacobs, Jimmy Choo and Dior. Like every girl diamonds are
my best friend. I love wearing rings since they look very
classy and royal.” She further added, “For jewellery my go to
brand is Kiwi by Musskan”.
Her style icon has always been as she feels that Deepika
Padukone for her styling sensibilities and the way she carries
herself every time. She can carry a bold outfit and still look
subtle, elegant and classy at same time. She feels Deepika has
her own distinctive style in everything she does and wears.
While conversing about her colour palate for the season
she says, “I have always been very fond of Black and I like
tone of black in my dressing. However this season I am trying
for more colors which includes bright like red, yellow, green
and pastels like ivory and beige as well”.
