hile the thought of
bringing about a
change really excited
me, the 'how do I do
it?', dampened my spirit. Till I stumbled
upon a video by Filter Copy. They
spoke about the Robin Hood Army; a
volunteer based organisation that works
towards the cause of eradicating hunger,
preventing food wastage and educating
the children of India.
Why did I get drawn to it? Because
Robin Hood Army is a Zero Funds
Organisation.
A few more minutes on Google,
and it was all there! TedEx talks, Press
Coverages, Radio Shows. There was
famed Punjabi actor Parul Gulati
volunteering with them. There was
Vinay Sinha – the producer of the cult
film Andaz Apna Apna, giving RHA ashout out last year.
And then, I spotted the iconic Hot
Seat. None other than the legendary
Mr.Amitabh Bachchan & Kajol talking
about the Robin Hood Army and inviting
it's founder Neel Ghose to play Kaun
Banega Crorepati in September 2018!
Google also popped up Farhan
Akhtar associating himself with the
Robin Hood Army about two years back.
A conversation with Parul Gulati
revealed that the Robin Hood Army
is a Zero Funds, volunteer based
organisation. The main motive of the
Robin Hood Army is to make this world
hunger free and craft everyone to be self
dependent.
What started in Delhi with just
three volunteers and food for 200 odd
people, is today a family of more than
twenty thousand volunteers all overGLIMPSE EYE

Often we are faced with a situation where the willingness to give back to the society is strong,
but we do not know how. The how, where and when, plague us and we are plunged in doubts of
uncertainty and the idea of stepping out & doing something, loses steam and we recline back in
our mundane rut. So has happened with me too.
