where you are travelling parents will
always have something or the other to
say about it. Every place has certain
positive and negatives, those who don’t
travel focus on the negative whereas the
ones who travel know everything! You
can be a good baby and sit back home to
please your parents but remember it will
add on to your regret list and when your
parents gave you birth , they created
another human with a brain who have
capacity to take his/her own decisions
rather than sulking over not going many
years later.

#OMG! I can’t travel alone
My first solo travel experience was
almost a year back and since then I
feel I have changed as an individual
in a positive way. I have overcome the
fear of travelling alone, I know what is
right and what is wrong for me while
travelling, and I was meeting other
people constantly. It doesn’t matter if
you’re shy; someone will probably start
a conversation with you, especially if
you stay in a social hostel. Once you get
out there, you’ll see what I mean. It’s all
about just taking that first step. I have
learnt a lot more which I think I wouldn’t
have if I have been travelling with
somebody. Travelling solo has its own
value. Sometimes, the dream to travel
will be yours alone, and that means you
have to do it by yourself if you’re going
to do it at all.

#Show me the money
Money will always be a problem and I
can bet that you will never have enough
money for travel. Even if you’re earning
minimum wage, having trouble figuring
out how to travel cheaply, or just think
you’re too poor to travel, if you’re sitting
at a computer reading this right now
with a passport that lets you go to other
places in this world, you have the ability
to make it happen financially. Change
your mind-set, and the rest will follow.

Also, I learned it from one of my foreign
friend ‘Veronique’, that if you have the
urge to travel, you will make sure to save
even a penny and once you start your
travel journey even with less money,
it will be a happy trip for sure. What
I didn’t realize back then was that my
money would have been worth more as
much had I strayed a bit farther away
from home.

#Phew! She is travelling alone

Women are really not expected to be
travel alone as they are perceived as
docile and innocent. What I always find
interesting, though, is that the women
in history who are heralded are the ones
who did the opposite of all of that. Think
of Harriet Tubman, Joan of Arc, Susan
B. Anthony, Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart,
and an endless list of other women who
are pretty much universally loved and
appreciated for doing the exact opposite
of what society expected out of them.
We praise them for their courage, and
for having the kind of forethought and
knack to question the system that made
them into heroes later.Though travelling
the world might not make you a hero
but it will definitely make you a hero in
your own eyes and people those who
love you will respect you for standing up
for yourself.
P.S. Every problem seems
insurmountable at the time, but there
are ways to get around those obstacles
that keep you from traveling, no matter
what. The key is to look for the solutions
and break them down into manageable
pieces rather than trying to tackle the
entire thing at once.
The Sufi’s say that, “The most
unforgivable sin is the killing of time.”
Instead of waiting for the “right time” to
travel, understand that it will never be
the right time to travel.
So what are you waiting for?
