APPS

Dinggo
Available on: Android, Price: Free
Subscribe to too many streaming services and don’t know what
to watch? Dinggo might be the app for you. It was built to rock
your socks! The app allows you to select which streaming services
you’re a part of, then pick a genre or two of
TV shows or movies that you might be into.
The app then enables you to scroll through a
range of options from all your different streaming
services, so you aren’t stuck with just one
service’s recommendations. If you’re a super cool insomniac like
me, you should check Dinggo out. Oh, and they’re super awesomely
nice too. Go on! You’d be so cool if you did.

Smart Navigation Bar
Available on: Android, Rs $1 (premium version)
If you’re still using the regular navigation bar on your Android
device, and you like to spice it up a bit, well, there’s a new app that
allows you to do that. This app is listed as “Navbar slideshow free

  • navbar customize android”, while the developer also refers to it
as “Smart Navigation Bar Slideshow App”. It allows
you to choose images from your gallery, and then it
shows those images in form of a slideshow in your
navigation bar.. If you do not prefer to have images
slideshow down there, you can always just put
whatever text you want instead, or a battery indicator line, perhaps...
it’s up to you. There are plenty of options for text but just keep in
mind that a number of these options actually require you to get the
paid version of the app. The paid version is ad free..!

Swoot – Podcasts with friends :)
Available on: Android, IOS, Price: Free
Swoot is available to make sense of the podcast boom and
mushrooming of the podcast content. It is designed to solve the
problem of discovering new shows. The idea is to let listeners see
what shows their friends follow, as well as the shows and episodes
they recommend, all in the name of getting people
to discover new content. In starting up Swoot,
users are encouraged to link up their Facebook
and Twitter accounts as well as their contacts list.
They can then choose to follow friends who are already using the app.
From there, they can see what their friends are listening to and what
they’re specifically recommending in an activity feed — little green
icons appear next to a person’s avatar whenever they listen to at least
20 percent of an episode. After that, it’s pretty much like any other
podcast app.
