FOOD THAT CAN KEEP YOU

PSYCHOLOGICALLY SOUND

HEALTH

T

his is basically food mood
swings, what you eat affect
how you feel and how you
feel affects what you eat. Food
becomes a big part of association as
we get attached, it is the emotional
attachment with the food, and we
associate it with things that have
happened to us. Foods that were a big
part of our childhood can bring back
memories of that time in our lives. One
should make good choice of food while
selecting on what to keep on your diet.

Eat chocolate to make you feel sexy
Chocolate contains an exceptionally
high amount of phenylalanine, a
stimulant associated with love and
sexual attraction. It stimulates the
production of endorphins, which lend
a feeling of pleasure. It also contains
serotonin, which is supposed to be an
anti-depressant. Chocolate in our body
stimulates the creation of serotonin,
known as the "happy hormone",
which creates excitement in the body.
Endorphin is also released - our natural
calming device that raises the sense of
wellbeing and satisfaction.

Keep Calm and have coffee
Despite its bad status, small amounts of
caffeine have been shown to work as an
antidepressant. To make sure to preserve
the health benefits, don't put sugar or
anything nauseating things in your

coffee! If it tends to affect your sleep,
then don't drink it after midnight. The
dose to one or 2 cups of coffee per day is
abundant, don’t overdo it though.

Fishy Fish
People having depression or bad mood
swings usually lack DHA(DHA is a
very potent anti-inflammatory fat), (an
omega-3 fatty acid).A gram of fish oil
is more than sufficient to decrease the
symptoms of anxiety, sleep disorders,
unexplained feelings of sadness, suicidal
thoughts and decreased sex drive. One
should eat approximately 600 to 1,000
milligrams of DHA per day. Try on
oily fishes, like salmon, sardines, and
mackerel, into your diet.

Milky Way for a stronger way

Milk contains proteins high in
tryptophan, which is a building block
in the bloodstream for serotonin in the
brain. It’s a source of carbohydrates
and vitamin D (low levels have been
associated with depression), which is
required for the production of serotonin.
Milk is also a source of calcium, which
has been shown to reduce anxiety.

Red wine for Relax Mind
Wine does have a calming influence

(surprise, surprise). The fact that a
dinner is accompanied by a drink which
helps the body relax and unwind can
help the mental transition between work
and relaxation.

Saffron for Seduction
Saffron is a natural aphrodisiac and
should be consumed to improve your
sex drive and your performance in bed.
Saffron can bring a lot of stamina and
energy.

The food we eat fuels our bodies but it also affects our minds. It is widely acknowledged fact that your
mood can trigger food cravings, cause either you to overeat or kill your appetite utterly.
