This month we make another pieced star, this

time by foundation piecing.

REQUIREMENTS

Size: 60" square Block: 12" square

For whole quilt:

• 7, Floral fat quarters*


• 4m Cream


• 40cm Blue – binding


• 65" Square wadding


• 3½m Backing

For part 7:

• Foundation paper


• Stiff card


• Add a Quarter ruler –
  optional

PIECING

*Louisa used fat quarters from the Liberty’s Cottage Garden

collection (including one with motifs perfect for fussy-cutting),

together with a Linen Texture in ‘Linen’ colour from Makower for

the background in her quilt. See end of project for suppliers.
