The new Veo 4.0 is described as an entry-level
computer, and offers Air, Nitrox, Gauge and
Freediving modes. It is switchable between three
gases, has a choice of two algorithms and an
optional deep-stop setting, and is claimed to be
especially easy to read thanks to its oversized
display. Functions are easily accessed either by
a two-button menu or wirelessly from your
smartphone using the free Divelog+ app. The Veo 4.0
is also Bluetooth-compatible, and costs £250.

Swiss watchmaker Oris has launched a special three-watch collectors’ set in
support of marine-conservation charities. The collection is limited to 200
pieces, and the watches are the Great Barrier Reef, Clean Ocean and Blue
Whale models. Each is based on the Oris Aquis diver’s watch but with
features unique to each model, says Oris, which is
highlighting the work of Pacific Garbage Screening,
the Reef Restoration Foundation and Whale &
Dolphin Conservation. The set costs £7560.

Newly appointed UK Sherwood distributor Midland Diving
Equipment offers the SR2 flagship regulator, which has
a balanced-piston first stage that’s dry-sealed to combat
icing and prevent contaminants entering the mechanism.
It has five medium-pressure and two hp ports. The second
stage has adjustable breathing for personal preference,
pneumatic balancing for easy inhalation and a flexible purge
for use with thick gloves. Retail price is expected to be £599.
