1966: Eric Rickman shot her winning on the
track; Jim McFarland got the behind-the-wheel
portrait (no “sitting pretty” caption this time);
and Fred Enke shot her trophy presentation
with Miss Winternationals, Peggy Ann Nielsen.
Those 1966 victories would be the last in
her Corvette. The Chrysler folks approached
her at the end of the 1966 season with an
offer for sponsorship, and Miss Mighty Mopar
