first 5G smartphone in
Barcelona. The device is
powered by Qualcomm
Snapdragon 855
chipset and an X50
5G modem. No other
information has been
released yet.

point. The Huawei MateBook
X Pro is powered by 8th

GPU for smooth graphics
performance. The
MateBook X Pro has a
fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button. One of
the cool features of the MateBook X Pro is Huawei Share
OneHop, an NFC chip on the laptop that lets you quickly
transfer files between the laptop and a smartphone. The
MateBook X Pro starts at €1,599.

Huawei also launched a
touchscreen variant of the Huawei
MateBook 13, along with the
MateBook 14 laptop. With the
MateBook 14, the camera is
hidden inside the keyboard which
pops-up when you need it. It
has a 14-inch FullView display
a display of 6.6-inch screen
and when opened, it turns into
an 8-inch slim tablet. Images
are displayed with great clarity
and the panel itself is safe and
durable.
Moreover, the Huawei Mate
X comes with an integrated
Fingerprint Power Button that
enables users to power up the
device with one tap, offering
a secure and convenient
experience.

touchscreen. The MateBook 14
gets up to Intel Core i7 8565
CPU, Nvidia GeForce MX250
GPU and up to 10.5 hours of
battery life. The MateBook 13

Nubia at Mobile World Congress
launched its first smartwatch
with a bendable display. The
Nubia Alpha comes with a
4-inch (960x192 pixels) flexible
OLED display. The Alpha
straps on like a bracelet and
lets users make and receive
calls and take photos. The
Nubia α specifications include
a Snapdragon Wear 2100
processor paired with 1GB RAM
and 8GB of internal storage. The
Nubia Alpha runs on a custom
OS that uses motion gestures.
This helps in controlling the
smartwatch by just doing gestures
in the air, close to the device. The
device has two knobs on the right
edge for helping in navigation.
It packs a 500mAh battery that
claims to last a day or two (48
hours of standby time).
The Black Bluetooth variant will
be available in Europe and North
America in April, and its average
global price will be €449. The
eSIM variant will be available in
China in April for EUR 549 for
the Black colour options and the
18K Gold variant will be priced
around €649.

Nubia also launched Nubia Pods wireless
earbuds alongside the Nubia Alpha
smartwatch. The Nubia Pods is a true
wireless earbuds that comes along with
a charging case with a battery of its own.
The Pods can go about 6.5 hours with
continuous playback. The earbuds have
Bluetooth 5 with Qualcomm aptX and
DSP ENC for calls that are integrated
into it. The Pods retail for €99.
