PATRICE EVRA has set his sights on a
move into the dugout after calling time
on his playing career at the age of 38.
The former Manchester United favourite
yesterday officially hung up his boots and
plans to become a coach.
Evra won a Champions League, five
Premier League trophies and three League
Cups in his stay at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman, whose last appearance
was at West Ham in May 2018, said:
“I want to finish my coaching badges. Then
I will be qualified to manage a team.”

Nathan Jones admitted: “The
shut-off time’s gone. Anyone who
comes in now, it would leave us
short in terms of replacing Jack
and bringing another one in.”
Stoke paid £3.5 m for Butland
six years ago but 20 per cent of
any profit on that goes to selling
club Birmingham.

STOKE have shut the door on
England goalkeeper Jack
Butland’s exit plan.
Butland insists he needs to
leave the Championship club to
retain his place in the Three Lions
squad. But he believes Stoke’s
£25 million valuation has priced
him out of a quick return to the
Premier League. And Stoke boss

Butland going nowhere
