(Barry) #1

In this project, we’ll
look at how layers
can be duplicated, reshaped,
copied, grouped and reused
to build up an effect. We’ll
begin by selecting portions
of the subject’s dress, then
use these to create all
manner of beautiful swirling
lines. This is done using the
Warp Transform command,
which lets us push and pull our
layers into different shapes.
If you want to use your
own portrait for this, shoot
a person against a white
backdrop and make sure
they have interesting
patterns on their clothes!
