Dom's verdict Now, you could shell out a serious amount

of money on a high-end Cobra model and get all the whistles

and stops. Alternatively, you could save a few bob and buy

this handsome piece, which not only has all the essential

details, but also sports a really excellent finish to boot!

Dom's verdict What a lovely little set this is!

Evoking the London to Singapore expedition of 1955-56,

both models have accurate colours and intricate printing.

The addition of jerry cans and canvas covered kit just

make them all the more tempting.

Dom's verdict I love the look of this Isle of Man Airports

Board Fire appliance. Even at 1:76 scale, it looks like a big brute

and the balloon tyres with their heavy tread really look the part.

The fitted components are well made and the glazing is

spot-on. I can't fault the decoration and printing either.
