CLASSIC CARS & RETRO
VINTAGE ON THE GREEN
This annual show at Bearsted Green in Kent will
take place on July 28. Up to 200 classic cars will
be on display and admission will cost just 50p for
adults and 10p for children. As always, the event
will be raising money for The Kent, Surrey and
Sussex Air Ambulance and, operations permitting,
the Air Ambulance Service hopes to make a
low y-past during the day.
Last year, during one of the longest, hottest,
summers on record, both organisers and visitors
braved torrential downpours when the weather
unexpectedly broke (which our Ed can vouch for,
as she was there!). So, ngers crossed for wall-
to-wall sunshine this time around and, if you’re
within striking distance, please think about going
along and supporting this fantastic event.CARFEST
NORTH 2019
Bolesworth in Cheshire will
play host to the super-charged,
children’s charity supporting event that is
Car-Fest over the weekend of July 26-28.
This year’s show promises more cars, more
4-wheeled action and more chances to get
up close and personal with speed machines,
across the whole festival. The new track layout
will feature not one but two paddocks and some
completely new collections of cars, never seen
before at CarFest. Plus there will be live music,
with some massive names in the music industry
performing on the main stage each night, plus
a food festival, a funfair and numerous other at-
tractions that will appeal to the whole family. Day
admission and weekend camping tickets are now
