Organic rice farmers test blockchain

Cambodian farmers teamed up with UK-based iNGO
Oxfam for a trial run of BlocRice, short for Blockchain for
Livelihoods from Organic Cambodian Rice. The project
which involved relevant players in the supply chain including
organic rice farmers, agricultural cooperatives, exporters,
importers, and retailers, was a success in that it gave the
supply chain a fresh experience of the technology. The
project also revealed some interesting challenges.

Intelligent food preservation

Microbial contamination can occur when moisture is trapped
in food packaging that is inadequately handled. It can occur
with the presence of contaminated water when produce is
cooled, washed or transported within packing and storage
facilities. Food spoilage can be caused by fertilisers, as well
as contaminated water and soil, unhygienic equipment, and
workers who neglect food safety and hygiene regulations. So
how do you address these?

Hybrid capability
with the TruBake
HiCirc oven

The TruBake HiCirc convection oven brings
higher rates of convection, higher heat flux,
and a broader range of product capability than
